We Saints must be careful in our choice of words and how we use (say/write) them. For instance, "the filthy rags of our own self-made righteousnesses cannot serve to cover our sinful hearts today."

Saints have 2 spiritual hearts. The Heart of our salvation is God's Heart gifted to us in our Spiritual New Creation/New Life. The other heart is the residue from our old, sinful life.

Yes, we can Live/live in either one. But the quoted statement does not clearly differentiate between the two. The statement does not clarify what the speaker/writer intends. The hearer/reader is knowingly or unknowingly left confused. God is not the author of confusion.

Without being taught the "two hearts" of a Saint, Saints are left in the dark. Truth is Light.
