A 5th Pillar w/ new diagram

Recently I posted a diagram and explanation of The 1st 4 Pillars of Experiencing the Love of God (middle of August). God has shown me another Pillar that can be just as important.

The 5th Pillar – The Eternal Word of God

On the surface this may not sound that dramatic. But, Eternal is a significant word. Especially since there is a similar word, Everlasting, that is also a significant word. They come from the same Greek word, yet do not mean the same thing due to the context in which they are used. Albeit modern vocabulary tends to equate and co-mingle the two as if they mean the same thing.

The Greek is aionios. When referring to Eternal Life, it means the life which is God’s and hence it is not affected by the limitations of time…past, present, or future. Always has been, always will be. When referring to Everlasting Life, it means that which is from now on…there is no end going forward.

The importance of this Pillar is to know that the Word of God has always been. We tend to think of just the present and the future when reading the Holy Scriptures, but to know and realize and keep at the forefront the impact of His Word having always been…that leads to many premises which make the study of The Word of God very special.

God has known. God knows now. And God knows the future. Amen.
