Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” Make disciples, brethren. A disciple first must be Born Again. The disciples led people to the Lord.
Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." The apostles, the disciples, Paul, Silas, Timothy, and all the brethren did this. They went and they told.
This is the primary job of all Saints. Two primary reasons: 1) Romans 10:13-14, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher (Greek: kerusso, to herald, as a public crier).” 2) Without adding new Saints, the Body diminishes…in numbers, importance, and relevance.
Why do we think things are like they are in America today? One good reason: not enough Lost souls being led to salvation through Christ (upon which they receive the Mind of God to know and act upon the thoughts of God).
“Each one, reach one,” is a good start. There was a day decades ago when Saints were concerned about witnessing and seeing many come to Christ. One denomination once had a great slogan, “A million more in ’54.”
How about “A million more (or, 10 million) in ’24.”
