Beliefs About God

How often do we ask or think: What effect do our beliefs about God have on the way we experience life? Do I think God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent? Those three are crucial to Who we believe God is. Those three impact what we believe God is able to do, or not do, that impacts our life.

What does Scripture say about God’s involvement in our life?

·         Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

·         Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20

·         For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 1 John 3:20

Beliefs that can lead to experiencing God more:

·         more belief that God is able

·         more trust in God

·         more denying “self,” being less self-centered

·         more yielding to our Spiritual Life, the indwelling Holy Spirit

When our beliefs line up with God’s Truth, His Life and Power will be experienced through us.
