crying out to God - pt. 2

From 1-31-24, crying out to God, pt.1, we see the need to make three lists to begin with, and then we are ready to cry out to God. Ok, we have our 3 lists…what’s next?

Well, all of us need 1 more list…the things I need to do in crying out to God. Ok…

1.      confess (agree with God) the things of which we need cleansing, freedom, healing, and restoration

2.      ask God for His taking back the place/ground in our lives of the things we have listed and restoration to the intimate unhindered fellowship of a Spirit-filled Saint

3.      ask God to heal any damaged emotions that our sins or others sins against us gave the enemy

4.      ask God to cover any memories with His precious blood. It is not as if we will never think of those things, but that they would not have any power over us.

5.      ask God to not allow any of the past to further cause anguish, pain, emotional distress, or physical problems in our life

6.      Praise God and thank Him that He has given the victory & deliverance

7.      Thank God that He is working all this together for our benefit

When crying out to God about those who have sinned against us, it is imperative to begin with that we ask God to forgive them, and ask Him to not lay that sin to their charge. This is what we would want others to ask Him for sins we have committed against them.

The best thing to know about this “process” is it is a personal thing. Each of us can handle it in our intimacy with God. Holy Spirit knows what to pray when we don’t know what to pray and He is also making intercession for us (Romans 8:26-27). God can see that we are living in our Holy Soul and desiring unhindered fellowship with Him. It is not our perfection. It is our direction.

Jesus said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me…sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives. He is the only One who can cleanse, free, heal, and restore where we have given any place/ground to the enemy.

Praise His Holy Name.
