I cannot not forgive

“I cannot not forgive” ties back to giving place to the devil. Unforgiveness is one of the most common ways Saints give ground to the enemy.

God is our Shepherd. He will take us through this righteousness. He is the greatest forgiver of all. In fact, He has said that only blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is the only unforgiveable sin.

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven

unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, shall not be forgiven

unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man,

it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost,

it shall not be forgiven him,

neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Matthew 12:31-32

As far as our forgiving someone for anything and everything, God is adamant about our always forgiving. (Matthew 6:12, 14-15; Mark 11:25; Colossians 3:12-13)

Therefore, is there ANY trespass or reason we are not to forgive? None. We must see that this saying is put into practice and experience God’s Grace to say, I cannot not forgive. Unforgiveness is unacceptable to God.

Forgiveness does not mean forgetting. God never forgets. He just does not hold anything against us that He has forgiven. Big difference. God can do the same through His Saints to/with anyone that has hurt us. We (God in us) can remember without harboring hurtful emotions.
