Justified = Righteousness

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,

but by the faith of Jesus Christ,

even we have believed in Jesus Christ,

that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,

and not by the works of the law:

for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 2:16

The parabolic Scriptures always allude to salvation possibly being of works…keeping the Law. But, it is a foundational fundamental that Justified equals Rightiousness. In fact, the Law never has been an issue of salvation…Old Testament or New Testament. Salvation has always been the Life of God, a gift from God. (an in-depth study of Galatians explains this more than adequately)

It is also important to notice that the works of the Law can never give justification to the carnal or natural.

Flesh here is not referring to the earthsuit. Besides, the earthsuit is temporary and does not have any spiritual capability of eternal life.

Therefore, we must always be on the watch for parabolic words such as justified. The Greek: dikaioo, render innocent by being made righteous. How is one made righteous? By the gift of Holy Spirit, the Life of God, Eternal Life. The Life of God is imputed to the Believer.

It is a sad thing that the Law has been misunderstood for ages. It came 430 years after the Covenant of God to His people, of which we are Spiritual heirs as Saints today.
