Quoting Scripture

The entire Holy Scriptures – not 1 verse – are the TEACHING MANUAL of God for His Saints. Who, what, where, when, why, and How are all important considerations. Generally, one verse does not answer all these.

Therefore, as Saints of God we must realize that going around quoting Scripture is of no effect to most people. Certainly for sinners (those not Born Again). A sinner can never receive the things of the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to him. He cannot know them because they are spiritually discerned, parabolically hidden, and cannot break through his blinded spiritual mind. (see 1 Corinthians 2:14, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

Likewise a Born Again Saint functioning in the carnal mind. Same mind as he had when a sinner. It is enmity with God. (Romans 8:6-7)

Therefore, the use of Scripture, quoting Scripture, and even posting Scripture on some media would best be done with the intent of conveying Truth, AND the How to enjoy that Truth.

Example: Ephesians 5:18, “…be filled with the Spirit.” Actually, the Greek plerousthe literally is be being kept filled. But without telling someone How to be filled, we will not give them the complete instruction of Scripture.

HOW? Simply deny self, ask God to fill you with Holy Spirit, and trust Him to have done so.

I am certain Saints want others to know the Truth of the Holy Scriptures. I am also certain the desire is there for the readers or hearers to enjoy the Life of the Scriptures. It is that to communicate such, it is best to know to whom we are speaking and give them the complete picture/instruction.
