Saved To the Uttermost - pt. 2

1 Peter 1:3-5, “an inheritance incorruptible,” only God could accomplish Eternal Life like this. We could not come close to obtaining or preserving such. “Blessed be the God…”

Praise is of prime importance for Saints. It comes only from the lips of Saints Living in Holy Soul. Look at all that we have to praise God for…

• according to his abundant mercy. A great amount of compassion.

• hath begotten us again. The Supernatural Spiritual Second Birth from above, not of humans, but of Holy Spirit.

• unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. This hope is that which expects to receive. Not a vain wish. Not a vague prayer. But an expectation of that which is hoped for to become a gift received. Lively hope of the resurrected Life of Christ.

• to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away. As an heir of God, an inheritance expected, guaranteed. Eternal Life in our Heavensuit that is not subject to deterioration.

• reserved in heaven for you. Comforting words. Our place is kept for us, in heaven.

• who are kept by the power of God through faith. And not just kept, but kept by the power of God through His Life.

• unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time (kairos eschatos). Salvation here is admission to Eternal Life in God’s Kingdom, already the possession of every Saint, totally revealed.

Rejoice Saints! God has us in His hands.
