Signs of Walking In the Spirit

Galatians 5:25, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Throughout the post-Pentecost Scriptures of the New Testament we find numerous tell-tale pictures of a Saint Walking In the Spirit (Holy Spirit). These signify being filled with Holy Spirit. The Life God wants His Saints to experience and enjoy constantly.

There are some basic under-girdings that are like pillars of support of such walking. Take a look at the following:

·       communing with God (praying). The interaction of a Saint with God in the Spiritual realm where each speaks to the other. In communing God can share with a Saint those ways He wants to Live through the Saint’s earthsuit.

·         depending on God to Live His Life through a Saint’s earthsuit.

·      worshipping, encouraging, and having fellowship with other Saint’s – of One Mind, in one accord.

Some outward signs of walking in the Spirit…Jesus is our example. The apostles and pastors of Scripture also.

·         sharing our personal testimony of salvation and the Grace Life

·         witnesses of the death, burial, & resurrection of Christ…sharing the Gospel

If Jesus came to seek and to save sinners, and has said we would be His witnesses, these first two could be the most evident of Living and Walking in the Spirit.

·         sharing Truth with someone, Life Verses

·         having God’s Peace in trying situations

·         enjoying God’s Joy no matter the circumstance

·         Spiritual Fruit abounding and impacting another’s life

Walking in the Spirit is God’s Way of Spiritual Life.
