The Big lie

"The devil made me do it." One of the biggest lies from the pits of hell. TRUTH: the devil is defeated. The demonic life of a sinner is spiritually crucified at salvation. It is no longer in the earthsuit of a Saint.

The trichotomy diagram showed last time that the only spiritual life in a Saint is the Spiritual Life of God (Holy Spirit). Yes, there is a residue old unholy soul (mind-emotions-will=heart). But not the demonic life. The only way the unholy soul has any energy to affect a Saint is if it is given access or permission by the Saint.

How does that happen? When a Saint thinks or speaks of "the devil..." This gives ground, place, or advantage to the unholy soul.

Does the life of the enemy still exist? NO. But the residue that can be energized and given freedom to act still exists. (later we will look at 2 good reasons it does). It can carry with it an impact from the life that was its source. But only is a Saint gives it ground/place.

Believe the enemy is powerless.

Believe the enemy cannot make us do anything.

Believe God is our Shepherd...He leads us and protects and provides for us.

Believe a Spirit-filled Saint Living in the Holy Soul of God within is MADE FREE in Christ.
