the disgusting carnal mind - pt.1

Limiting God comes from the carnal mind in all Saints. A part of the residue unholy soul. It is the same mind as the natural mind in sinners.

1 Corinthians 2:14 says the natural man (a sinner, in his natural mind) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Note some key points from the origination of the carnal mind (same mind as when a sinner):

• cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God

• such things are foolishness to this mind

• cannot know Spiritual Truth, because Spiritual Truth is Spiritually discerned

• the Gospel of Jesus Christ (and all Truth) are hid from this mind

• blind to Spiritual Truth

• can think it is thinking Spiritual when it is thinking religiously

• cannot recognize or know Spiritual happenings

• can be taught false definitions and diagrams as religious ideas.

As Saints we must stay alert to which mind we are thinking in.
