The Fruit of God's Love

2 Timothy 1:7, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Once again we must notice immediately that God has given us His Spirit, the Spirit of Power, and of Love, and of His Sound Mind. The manifestation of these is the Fruit of Holy Spirit.

The Fruit of God’s Love. Any Spiritual Love is the Life/Fruit of Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22, But the fruit of the Spirit is love… With verses like 1 John 4:8 telling us explicitly that God is love, we should cherish His Love living inside us.

God desires to Live through our earthsuit. The Supernatural Spiritual Life of God manifested through us. The experience of His Love is Him Living it through us, not us trying to Love.

Here is a great Spiritual Truth: We can’t Love anyone. God must Love them through us. This is a Spiritual mystery, but it is Truth. All Spiritual Fruit – the Love of God included – is a manifestation of the Life of God.

Illustration: I can tell God that I can’t Love someone, but I want Him to Love them through me. I can choose to make myself available for Him to do just that. For anyone to sense the Love of God it has to be God doing the doing. We need to learn more about Spiritual Fruit. And how to deny self where God can manifest His Fruit.

In essence we Saints do not love, but benefit from experiencing the Fruit (manifestation) of God’s Love. His Love appearing to be us loving, but Truth is Him loving through us.
