The Giving Heart of God

Without a doubt, God is the greatest Giver of all. All time. The Holy Scriptures testify to this. His Giving Heart. Think on these testimonies…

-          For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son… John 3:16

-          I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:11

-          Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you… John 14:27

-          Who gave himself for us...to redeem us from all iniquity… Titus 2:14

-          And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son.

1st John 5:11

-          …remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to

receive. Acts 20:35

-       Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Now here is a mystery that so many have not discovered: the HEART is the sum of the working of the mind, emotions, & will of the soul (be it the unholy soul or the Holy Soul). We can know this, and we can know which heart we are functioning out of.

Do we BELIEVE God? Is our GIVING indicative of functioning in the HEART of GOD?  Do we TRUST Living IN the Heart of God? Let us check our GIVING, of all things.
