The Importance of the Lens

The lens of an eye allows the eye to focus on objects at varying distances. This makes clear vision possible. The lens of a physical eye can be exchanged. The same is possible spiritually. Depending on which lens we use, we can See Truth or not.

God has given Saints Eyes to See Spiritual Truth. God’s Truth is only seen through the Grace Lens and the Parabolic Lens. The Mind of God in Saints shines His Light to See what He Sees. There are other spiritual lenses that will keep a Saint from Seeing Truth. The Religious Lens, Legalistic Lens and Self Lens are three of the most often used lenses that carry a Saint on a detour away from Truth.

It can take just moments for a Saint to come to See through the Grace and Parabolic Lens. Only by the mercy of God and by His Grace (His doing) does a Saint ever begin to experience the vision of the Grace Lens and Parabolic Lens. There is nothing the Grace of God cannot accomplish. The Grace Lens shines God’s Light on four critical factors in Seeing Truth:

1.      the parabolic wording of every Spiritual Truth.

2.      the original languages of Scripture text

3.      the correct Scriptural definitions of the original and translated words

4.      the correct identification of the trichotomy of mankind (both sinners and Saints)

Just being aware of the Grace Lens and the Parabolic Lens is a first step toward KNOWING Truth.
