Are you living the life of a tomato? If not, you need to know you can. And once you know you can be, and how, your days on earth will be more full of God. Let us explore this…
Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there in no law.” The key word for us now is “fruit.” What is fruit? It is the ultimate expression of the life of the source.
A tomato is the ultimate expression of the life of a tomato plant (vine). Everything else works to yield the fruit. The Fruit of the Spirit is the ultimate expression of the Life of God. John 15:1-11. Man cannot produce this fruit. Only God can. Both the physical fruit and the Spiritual Fruit (ex: Joy).
When we realize the Source of Spiritual Fruit, we can stop trying to “produce” such. Or look for someone else or something in life to do so.
There are two amazing parables within this fabulous parable. 1) the law cannot produce, neither can it prevent. Yet too many live by the law to “produce” fruit. 2) within every fruit (life) is a seed (s) to reproduce life. Beautiful!
Tell me, why would a Saint ever live by the law when the Grace of God can be the Life of God performing through our earthsuit? For us, and generations to follow.
