The LOST Don't Know They Are LOST

3 verses of Scripture tell us clearly that LOST sinners do not (cannot) know they are one heartbeat from spending eternity in hell. As Saints, we need to be sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in hope that the Gospel Light will shine through to them.

1 Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

2 Corinthians 4:3-4, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Amazing, isn’t it. LOST sinners have a spiritual mind that is spiritually blind, the gospel is hid from them, cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, see His things as foolishness, and are totally unable to discern any of the spiritual things of the Spirit of God. A serious situation.

But the GOSPEL LIGHT… We are shown in the New Testament that sharing the Truth of the atoning death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; the only payment for the sinner’s sin nature; and to believe the Truth of God, trust the Truth of God, and receive Truth from God…God will give salvation and Eternal Life. What is holding us back?
