Some of the least studied, least understood key Truths presented in the Holy Scriptures are the mysteries of God mentioned throughout Scripture. Couple these with the parables & parabolic wording of Spiritual Truth, and Saints often miss the critical importance of key points in Christianity.
The first important point is to know that mystery and mysteries are not mentioned at all in the Old Testament, only in the New Testament.
Another important point to see and take notice of is how God says these mysteries have been hid for ages, generations, perhaps from eternity past. Look at these verses…
…it is given unto you (Saints) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (sinners) it is not given…many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. Matthew 13:11, 17
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom...
1 Corinthians 2:7
…known unto us the mystery of his will… Ephesians 1:9
How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery… Ephesians 3:3
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and generations, but is now made manifest to his saints…the glory of this mystery…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27
Search (in an exhaustive concordance) for and learn the mysteries of God. They unveil and reveal great Truths that bring Spiritual victory.
