The Religious Lens

Christianity is not a religion. It is a Relationship. Heavenly Father. Child of God. From the Spiritual Birth at salvation. Saints are created for fellowship with God. Everything in Christianity is centered in the relationship of God and the Saint.

All religion is solely prideful, self-centered, religious ideas about God, and the importance of man. Think of all the things Saints have thought up in the carnal mind, which is enmity with God.

1.      denominations – can you believe Saints around the globe have imagined and initiated so many groups of gatherings all in the name of Christianity. With multitudes of varying ideas as to what Christianity is about. God says His people are to be of one body, one Spirit, one mind, one accord, one faith, one baptism, one Lord and God and Father of all. Diversions and diversities are not Christianity.

2.      church practices – from the first, continuing daily with one accord, in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, remembering Christ’s death and resurrection, and in prayers. Nowhere in post-Pentecost gatherings is there the varying trappings, rituals, rites, ceremonies, and manifestations practiced today.

3.      programs – the initial gatherings had no programs. They met, they prayed, they helped each other to grow in Grace, and primarily shared the Gospel to condemned sinners.

Religion saves no one. The Saints’ relationship and their fellowship was all they had. And God grew their numbers.
