The Self Lens

There is nothing like the Big “i”…not a capital “I,” but the lowercase “i” with too much pride. In fact, it may not be accidental the middle letter of pride is “i,” the most destructive factor daily in the life of a Saint.

Do we not remember the warning of Romans 12:3, For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

I, me, my, mine – we, us, our, ours. Try living a day without focusing on those. Or, maybe an hour. Or, maybe a few moments. Listen carefully to the words coming out of our earthsuit, or other Saints. Too much focus, thinking, and speaking from the carnal mind. Matthew 15:18, wrong heart/carnal soul.

Like the Religious Lens and the Legalistic Lens, the Self Lens is located in the eyes of the/ carnal mind of a Saint. The Big "i" desires to be #1.

The Mind of God could never focus on the “i.” There can be no competition with God when it comes to Spiritual Truth.

How do we get Freedom and Victory? In the Mind of God. A choice to function in His Mind in us. Think on these things (Philippians 4).
