The What, Who, Why, When & How of Becoming a Saint

the what – There is nothing in this life that can compare to being Supernaturally Spiritually Born Again. The Greek anothen, from above, or again. In John 3:31, from above. In John 3:3, 7, again. The latter is the new man, no longer a sinner but now a Saint. The difference of spending eternity with God in Heaven as opposed to spending eternity with the devil in hell.

the who – those  who believe the record God has given of His Son (see 1 John 5:10-13). These are ones who have believed and trusted in Christ’s death and shedding of His blood for salvation.

the why – Because the blood of Jesus is the only payment God will accept for sin. The only thing that can wash away our sin and provide salvation from sin.

the when – Immediately, instantaneously forgiveness of sin and salvation from sin comes when a sinner sees the Gospel Light and cries out to God for His forgiveness and salvation.

the how – One must know and confess to being a sinner. Then acknowledge Christ’s payment for sin. Then trust in Christ’s payment to wash away all his sin.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men…Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people…Titus 2:11, 14

Born again, saved, redeemed…the Saints of God. Those whose eternal life is IN the Lord Jesus Christ.
