Vocabulary

We rise and fall with our definitions. If we have and believe a false definition, we are in trouble. And may not know it… For the sake of being of one mind and one accord, let us consider Scriptural definitions of some key words. These will always help.

life = spiritual, not physical. In Scripture, there are plenty of references to days and activities, but the primary usage is speaking of a spiritual life.

spirit = nature/life. Whichever spirit a person possesses determines the spiritual life of that person. There are only two spirits…unholy spirit and Holy Spirit. Sinner = unholy spirit. Saint = Holy Spirit.

soul = spiritual functioning of the spiritual life...spiritual mind, emotions, will.

earthsuit = the physical body. Only for the time on earth of every person. Houses the spirit and soul of each individual. Each individual will lose the earthsuit and gain an eternal suit, and live eternally. Heavensuit = Heaven. Hellsuit = hell. The spirit & soul live eternally.

God designed His Saints to have two souls while still on earth. Fully explained in my two books: The Images of God & Man and The Parable of the Two Souls.

These are important definitions to know as we read Scripture and make note of revealed Truth.
