Walk In the Spirit

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit,

and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:16

What does it mean to Walk in the Spirit? Very simple, God Lives His Supernatural Spiritual Life via the Indwelling Holy Spirit in Saints. The Life of God Living the Life of God.

On one hand, it would be impossible for Saints to not Walk in the Spirit. He is our only Spiritual Life. On the other hand, the Walk is a manifestation of the Soul. So to Walk in the Spirit is to Walk in Holy Soul. To experience the Life of God through the actions of Holy Soul.

On another hand, Saints have two spiritual souls. Holy Soul and carnal soul. Therefore, a choice is made as to which soul to walk in. Which one manifests itself by virtue of our choosing?

In verse 17, God tells us the flesh (carnal) lusteth (Greek: epithumeo, sets the heart upon) against the Spirit. The heart is the sum of the working of the mind, emotions, and will of the soul. In verse 19, 20, & 21 God gives us the manifestations of the flesh. How evil a list.

So the parabolic instruction is always allow Holy Spirit to manifest His Fruit (verses 22-23) and the works of the flesh will not be fulfilled. Well, amen.

And God concludes by saying (end of v. 23) there is no law against the manifestations of Holy Spirit.
